Born to Swim presents a Sports Development program in
Swimming by Organising a 4 days Swimming Coaching Clinic conducted by FINA
Certified Coaches and Officials at Nebutola Kabadi Santar Club from 5th
to 8th September’2013. The Clinic is conducted by three recognised FINA
Certified Coaches : Mr KWAMI KPODOH from Ghana(Africa), Mr DAVID CHUNG from
Malayasia and Mr. PARTHA PRATIM MAJUMDER (India). The Coaches focused on the improvement
of Stroke Mechanics and Sprinting Capacity of the Swimmers.
A total of 42 Swimmer of District to National Level Age
Group Swimmers of Kolkata and Six Assistant Swimming Coaches of different Clubs
of Kolkata participate in the said clinic.
The Program was a Grand Success and all the parents and
Swimmers appreciated.
In the Closing Ceremony the Coaches being felicitated by Mr
Pranab Sarkar , Genl Secretary of Kolkata District Swimming Association and Mr.
Pradip Ghosh, a Renowned Political Leader and the President of Nebutola Kabadi Santar
Mr. Majumder is a pioneer in taking the level of swimming to a higher notch. His levels of organisation and commitment is inspiring many young swimmers to take up swimming as a way of life and as a competitive event rather than just for fun. Kudos to him for the opportunities he is trying to provide for them!
